Smash
Burger, fast food, and fried chicken. Bold, energetic, food-first, and built around a direct ordering path.
Shopify Food & Drink theme
A lightweight restaurant-first Shopify theme built for fast ordering and easy customization.
Two presets
Smash and Ember share the same commerce and accessibility foundation while using different composition, typography, spacing, colors, and card treatment.
Burger, fast food, and fried chicken. Bold, energetic, food-first, and built around a direct ordering path.
Pizza, wood-fired, and Italian casual. Warm, editorial, generous, and led by fire-and-stone character.
Restaurant-first
A focused set of capabilities built around product discovery, menu browsing, confident purchase controls, and merchant-friendly content.
Dedicated category navigation and restaurant product cards on a configurable Shopify page—not a generic collection filter experience.
Direct add for unambiguous products, clear product selection for multi-variant items, and correct unavailable states.
An optional mobile purchase bar synchronized with variant, quantity, price, availability, and compatible selling-plan state.
Shopify-hosted video with poster fallback, mobile-safe behavior, stable dimensions, and reduced-motion handling.
A responsive collection-picker grid for useful category merchandising without duplicating the menu rail.
Native, keyboard-friendly collapsible content for dietary details, reservations, delivery information, and policies.
Architecture
Smash renders a complete storefront with Liquid and CSS, then adds small vanilla JavaScript modules only where interaction needs them.
No React, Vue, jQuery, carousel package, animation framework, map SDK, or external font service.
Variants, selling plans, dynamic checkout, product media, recommendations, pickup, cart, and forms use Shopify-native foundations.
Product, menu, search, popup, cart, recommendations, and predictive-search code remains route- or feature-scoped.
